The South Carolina State Ceramic Association was founded in 19YY to provide knowledge and education about the ceramic arts. In 19 something the association became a Nonprofit 501(c)(6). The SCSCA continues to strive to grow and increase knowledge the art of ceramics.
Each year in September the SCSCA sponsors a ceramic and fired arts show which exhibits ceramic artwork submitted by artists of all ages and experience levels as well as provides an opportunity to purchase supplies and take some classes to improve technique or learn a new one.
The association meets 5 time a year to discuss association business, the upcoming show and participate in classes or demonstrations.
